Community Guidelines
My Car Museum is built on a shared love of cars. These guidelines exist to keep it a place everyone feels welcome.
Last updated June 2026
Be Respectful
This is a community built on a shared love of cars. Treat every member and their collection with respect, regardless of what they drive. A $500 beater deserves as much respect as a $500,000 supercar.
Keep it Positive
Comments should add to the conversation — encouragement, questions, shared experiences. Negativity, put-downs, or dismissive remarks about someone's car or taste aren't welcome here.
No Harassment or Bullying
Personal attacks, threats, or targeted harassment of any member will result in immediate removal from the platform. Zero tolerance.
No Profanity or Offensive Language
Keep it clean. My Car Museum is a community for all ages and backgrounds. Content containing profanity or offensive language will be removed.
Keep it Family Friendly
My Car Museum is a community for everyone — including young car enthusiasts. All photos and videos must be appropriate for all ages. Content featuring nudity, sexually suggestive imagery, or inappropriate depictions of people will be removed immediately. We're here for the cars, not the car show clichés.
No Spam or Self-Promotion
Don't use comments or your museum to advertise products, services, or other platforms without permission. Unsolicited promotion will be removed.
Respect Privacy
Don't share another member's personal information without their consent. What someone shares in their museum is theirs to share — not yours to redistribute.
Authentic Content Only
Only add cars you have actually owned, currently own, or genuinely dream about. This is your real automotive story — keep it honest.
No Illegal Content
Don't post content that promotes illegal modifications, street racing, reckless driving, or other dangerous activities.
Violations & Enforcement
MCM reserves the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Serious or repeated violations will result in permanent removal. If you see something that violates these guidelines, please contact us at grant@mycarmuseum.com.
Keep Your Own Backups
It is your responsibility to keep offline copies of any photos, videos, and notes you upload. My Car Museum is not responsible for maintaining or preserving your original files.
